New smartphone! I recently upgraded to a Samsung Note Edge smartphone. I have only had this phone for a week but I am really in love with the Edge technology!!! Everything is neatly wrapped around the phone in a beautiful curved, crystal clear display. I just swipe from one bar to another with ease. I don't even need to wake up my phone to see a quick view of my sports scores, notifications/missed calls, etc. I find the Edge to be innovative and new. Samsung has really come a long way and they aren't slowing down. It is nice to see companies come out with new products, designs, features, etc. that are out of the box. We need more of this! Do you agree?

D you look at all these new techie toys and think, "I didn't know I needed that!" This is how I felt about my Samsung Gear 2 smartwatch that I have paired with my Note Edge. I usually don't buy the first model of anything electronic. I want them to work out the bugs/kinks and come out with a better version. This usually doesn't take long, only a few months. The Note Edge is basically the child of the Note 4 and Galaxy S6 Edge. I actually prefer having the S Pen/Stylus. I like physically writing notes. The S Pen works really great. I have always been a Post It Note kinda girl. Now I can keep my notes in one place and erase/reuse them instead of wasting a bunch of paper.

My tablet, a Samsung. My PC monitors? You guessed it, I have Two 27" Samsung Widescreen LED in White/Blue.

I am not sure how this even happened. All of a sudden I find myself surrounded by Samsung technology. I'm not complaining. I obviously love their products. It didn't happen on purpose. Well, the Gear 2 can only be used with Samsung tech so that part was on purpose I suppose.

I love to try out the newest and greatest technology. I can't buy it all however I try to go to my local electronics store and test them out, even if it's just for a few minutes.

Updates! Gaming, Love, Life!

I'm Baaaccck!! Hello my lovely Geeks & Geekettes, Nerds & Nerdettes!!!! How is everyone doing? It's been a long time since I made any posts on this blog.

To play catch up really fast here is what has happened to me the past few years:

1. Played roller derby,
2. Met my future husband,
3. Got my dream job,
4. Left dream job to move to Phoenix, AZ with future husband,
5. Adopted a Pomeranian. We named him Wickett.
6. Got Married! (We eloped & got married as Zombies! It was awesome. We were even featured on a Food Network show called: Worlds Weirdest Restaurants!),
7. Found my new addiction: Marvel Heroes! The game is FTP and created by David Brevik aka the creator of Diablo 1&2 and co-founder of Blizzard North. You can download the game via their website HERE or on Steam.
8. Rescued a kitten. She is gray with crazy long grey/silver hair. We named her Allie Einstein.
9. Purchased our 1st home!
10. Adopted our second dog, a German Shepherd puppy. We named her Psylocke. I've wanted a GS my whole life!!

That my friends is a wrap! Phew, that was a lot.

Since this blog is about being a Geekette let's get back to #7 on the catch up list. Marvel Heroes. You guys.... This game is so much fun! Free to play, NOT pay to win. All characters can be unlocked via Eternity Splinters that drop off all different types of mobs in the game. New heroes are being added as often as one per month. Game updates take place every week. There are: Achievements, PvP, Raids, Story mode and new content is always being added. If you are looking for a fun game with a great community, look no further! If you started to play the game at launch and didn't care for it, I strongly urge you to give it another try. It is a completely different game. Seriously, what do you have to lose? Nothing! It's FTP!
Note: Gazillion is not paying me in anyway shape or form for this. I truly love this game and the community. I simply want to spotlight it and make sure it reaches as many people as possible.

He loves to answer questions and even has viewer raids from time to time. Mr.&Mrs. B are a very entertaining and wonderful couple.
